Each piece has been carved from one piece of olive wood, which is a very beautiful and very hard wood.

Shape of rustic edge, colour and grain will vary as each piece is unique.

Sustainability:
We only use wood from very old olive trees that have come to the end of their natural fruiting life and have already been replaced with younger, more productive trees

we are now a very proud official partner of the Eden Reforestation Projects where we now donate the cost of planting a new tree for every piece of olive wood we sell! This means that by purchasing this item you are planting a tree in one of the most poverty stricken and deforested areas of the planet!
